Meet Coach D

I’m Coach D (Deirdre Harrison), health and fitness coach at Coach D Moves. Empowering people to make realistic health and fitness changes that last a lifetime makes my day. With a heavy emphasis on healthy habit building, my holistic coaching method makes lifelong changes achievable.

 

My interest in helping people become healthier began in 2004 when I started practicing massage therapy. In 2012, when working as a physical therapy rehab aide, I became inspired to teach fitness through helping injured patients exercise back to health. In the years following this meant pursuing run coaching certification (USATF), personal training and group exercise certification (ACSM), and most recently nutritionist certification (Precision Nutrition).

 
 

When I’m not coaching amazing women (like you) my favorite things to do are hiking with my daughter, enjoying pour over coffee with my incredible wife (I’m so lucky), sitting in front of a campfire, enjoying a sunrise run, snuggling our dog, and cooking delicious food.
